Sonlight Core 300 Review

Our family has used the Sonlight Curriculum in some fashion for the past seven years. Over the years we’ve moved through a variety of the Sonlight Core programmes, science programmes, and even a few of the language arts programmes. How To Lie with Statistics by Darrell Huff

How to Lie with Statistics by Darrell Huff is a humorous explanation of the ways truth is misrepresented with statistics. With example after example, Huff shows what questions to ask when you see graphs, percentages, predictions, rates, marked maps, trends, and advertisements.

The Holiday Homeschool

The Holiday Homeschool from the Authors at The Curriculum Choice - Beginning with fall and running through the New Year we find ourselves swept up in a wave of season/holiday celebrations. Not just in our everyday lives, but in our homeschools, there are tons of opportunities to bring these holidays to life, to learn, to celebrate. Here are some ideas!

The leaves are changing and the weather is cooling off here in NY. As the days get shorter and the nights longer (something I don’t look forward to), I hold on to the anticipation of the upcoming holiday season. Homeschool High School Health and Nutrition

Homeschool High School Health and Nutrition - I was very impressed with the table of contents and all that is included in this subject. This health and nutrition text addresses the 'whole person' with the spiritual aspect and with very practical suggestions for proper care.

The two of us have never seen such a thorough and truly enjoyable textbook on this subject. I have two homeschool graduates now. I sure wish they had had this resource! Don’t miss the giveaway at the end! Homeschool High School Health and Nutrition What I
