Ambleside Online Homeschool Curriculum

For almost twenty years I’ve been looking at, comparing, purchasing, and reviewing a wide variety of homeschool curricula.  In all those years, one option has always stood out, Ambleside Online. Ambleside Online homeschool is an incredible Charlotte Mason curriculum. Spanning all the grades with a few extra options for lighter years and catch up years, it covers all that Miss Mason would have covered in

We finish up homeschooling high school with our third child and start high school with our fourth very soon. It’s at both these celebratory times and in the day-to-day that I find myself so very grateful for digital homeschool history curriculum from Compass Classroom. All of Compass Classroom’s curriculum offers a wonderful Biblical worldview which is very important to us. And the digital, streaming classes

DuoLingo Review

DuoLingo Review - It’s a free website dedicated to helping you learn one of many foreign languages. Sign-up is free, use is free. Mobile compatible. I’ve found the programme quite addictive at times, crazy but true! It’s really inspired me to get cracking on learning that second language.

A few years ago my son mentioned he wanted to learn French. I thought of all the other, possibly, more useful languages we could learn based on where we lived. I tried, oh so hard, to convince him that he was crazy and we should really aim for one of those other languages. Not even slightly tempted he was so sure French was the way
