Are you a ShapleyGirl? Need a little motivation to get moving? Tired of all the work-out videos full of skinny women in very little clothing? ME TOO! Enter: ShapleyGirl Fitness by Debra Mazda. AWESOME! It consists of work-out videos that have shapley girls wearing actual clothing we might find ourselves wearing. What a concept, right?
It is wonderful to know that Debra knows what those of us who are trying to loose weight and feel better – she herself started out at 300 pounds! She is now in a size 12, and has been for years. So, this shows it lasts. She is also an Exercise Physiologist (never knew there was such a thing!).
From her website:
What is a ShapelyGirl? She’s passionate, positive and confident in her curves. She is moving forward to better health. She’s comfortable in her body and knows FITNESS COMES IN MANY SIZES. A ShapelyGirl doesnt let her dress size dictate how she feels about herself. She knows who she is, gets up when she falls and never gives up. ShapelyGirls are re-defining what fashion, fitness and beauty mean. No matter where you are on your journey come and join us in the ShapelyGirl Community for ideas, motivation and success stories from ShapelyGirls everywhere.
I was able to review two of her vidoes: Let’s Get Moving! and Walking Fit and Fabulous! I LOVE her energy and the music. I love the ladies that do the workouts with her. The videos are pretty much your normal work-out videos but they do have some pretty creative moves!
Let’s Get Moving‘s run time is 52 minutes and is one long workout.
Walking Fit and Fabulous is 88 minutes and there are several workouts you can choose from so you can pick the length of time you work out, increasing the time as you are ready.
Both videos sell for $14.95 and both are very different – therefore getting both would not be a waste of money.
Here’s praying you have fun learning (and exercising)!
Come visit Dawn over at her blog, Guiding Light Homeschool, on Facebook and on Twitter…new friends are ALWAYS welcome!

Dawn, these look intriguing to me. I’m an exercise-hater, but maybe, just maybe. . . these might do the trick!
