Copy and Draw Review

Six of our readers will be blessed with Copy and Draw. Don’t miss the giveaway at the end!

Gentle Shepherd has a treat for your young student. I have been able to review Copy and Draw- Colors, Numbers, Rhymes… and More with my 1st grade student.

This gentle approach to copywork is wonderful, especially for a boy. The copywork gets to take a break while drawing takes over. If there was ever anything that can make a child excited about schoolwork that is difficult for them, it is drawing. My little guy is advanced at reading, but struggles with the fine motor details of writing.

Sam’s Noggin

He was happy to do the work, even when he needed to do it over, just to get to the fun part.

There are no distractions, just the simple lead of copywork.

Oops! Didn’t see the comment question–my 7 yr old does copywork but my son just uses a handwriting workbook from Handwriting Without Tears so this looks like a nice next step!

We are currently looking for a way to introduce copywork in our homeschool system. We usually use a “get ready for kindergarten” book we purchased at walmart.

Looking for stuff for my toddler… he knows colors and such and loves to read Go, Dog, Go! He knows the ups and downs and bigs and littles and colors. This would be fun for him, I think.

We have enjoyed Gentle Sheppard copy work for the older children. This one looks great for my current Kindergardener! Thanks!
