Thiel College – A Homeschool Friendly College Option

Thiel College, (pronounced Teal) is a homeschool friendly college, located in Greenville, Pennsylvania.

Thiel College in Pennsylvania is a small liberal arts college with a small student to faculty ratio, making it a great homeschool friendly option.

Thiel College is located in the small community of Greenville in Mercer County, Pa. The campus is a 90-minute drive from both Pittsburgh and Cleveland – vibrant urban centers bustling with opportunity for internships, service learning, educational trips and entertainment – and a 40-minute drive from Youngstown, Ohio.

  • Small class sizes –  11:1 student-faculty ratio 
  • One-on-one academic advising
  • They accept credits for college in high school, advanced placement, dual enrollment, and college credit plus.
  • $21 million in scholarships awarded in 2021. 99% of students receive some aid.
  • Thiel Learning Commons – for supplemental learning opportunities, such as tutoring and instruction.
  • Internship and career counseling services – 100% of students complete one or more internships or other high impact practice
