In The Hands Of A Child :: Horses

To encourage independent learning when my girls were younger, I would buy a ‘In The Hands Of A Child’ lapbook and give it to them to work through on their own. Obviously we would have a chat on how to utilize the resource and if they got stuck I was available to help out. These would often be interest led topics.

For example, my daughter went through a horse crazy stage around 11 – 12 years old, so I purchased the Horses lapbook for her. It was a huge hit and she coped beautifully working on her own. It was the start of equipping her with the skills that are so important to have as you move through into high school. Remembering how much she enjoyed this lapbook project I thought I would share it here with you – I’m sure that there are lots of horse-crazy children out there who would love to learn more about this beautiful creature.

Do you know this site owner personally? I wanted to purchase a lap book today and it appears her site is no longer operational? It looks strangely like Maybe her domain expired. Was hoping someone knew her and could email to let her know!
